Transparent....

How can
eyes

so soft

burn such
a deep

hole

in my soul?

This can be taken in sooooo many different ways. *laughing*
It can be sexy, endearing...or a puppy's eyes!

Yes. *looks enigmatic*

I tweeted it earlier as:

How can eyes/so soft/burn holes/in my soul?

I like it both ways.

Thanks for the poetry love Laura. You're so sweet to me.

Wow. A ton of meaning packed into eleven words. Brilliant. And kinda hot.

Karen from Mentor said...

Just kinda hot?
*looks crestfallen*

But then thinks about the eyes and perks right back up....laughing...

Thank you for your wonderful comment my sweet.

How can
a poem

so short

leave me
thinking

so many thoughts?

Loved your echoing comment Rebecca. I have a thing for teachers, and quite a few of them stop in on a regular basis, so I think you'll feel right at home in this space.

And just so you know, here at Miscellaneous Yammering there's always cookies on the counter and milk in the fridge.

*points you toward the kitchen*
Thanks for stopping in.

You forgot to warn Rebecca not to put her hand in the left-hand container next to the cookie bin...

....giggling...hush Laura...she's new...don't want to scare her off.

But, um yeah...Rebecca? Don't do that.

Love this version no less than the previous - and Rebecca's echo, wonderful.

You are a skilled wordslinger, Ma'am. I really enjoy the brevity contrasted with the depth you achieve.

Nice, nice work.

Hee! I'm going to introduce myself like that all this weekend Kevin:

"Hi, Karen Schindler...skilled wordslinger..."

Somehow feels like I should be wearing a badge of some kind though.
