Woo me in the moonlight
like you’re shyly seventeen
Like you’ve never caressed
a creamy white thigh with
your trembling
hand
Like you’ve never teased
a taut pink nipple
with your tentative
teeth
teeth
Woo me in the moonlight
like you’re shyly seventeen
Make each touch stretch
til sinews hum on
bones
gooseflesh rises at each
expelled sigh
Woo me in the moonlight
like you’re shyly seventeen
Til the dawn crests like
a blushing beacon
And beams a shimmery
headlong path toward
devouring me in the sunshine

Ooooooooh! That is definitely a way to be wooed. Gave me gooseflesh.
Sensually delicious images for a Saturday afternoon. Lovely.
One question. Seventeen? I am so going back to Sister St. Cornelia and telling her off! 17 WASN'T TOO YOUNG!
Apparently.
Ohhhh...there's words to roll around in your mouth, across your tongue.
First times...beginnings...learnings...
Lovely sensuality captured here, Karen. To say nothing of the cresting dawn at the end...
Luscious.
LOL at Marisa's comment...and Kevin is right on the mark.
One of the most sensual poems of yours I've ever read, m'dear. Takes me back to seventeen (or something like that). Lovely rhythm and alliteration has certainly caught my attention.
Dear Lord. This was perhaps the most sensual thing I have ever read. Perfect language, and that ending. Oh my...
Great stuff, though the "sinews hum on bones" line didn't seem to fit with the rest of the piece, in my opinion.
Ah, well then you're clearly not a scorpio Aston. We scorpios do a lot of vibrating.
:0)
*smiling and smiling at Laurita*
@Alan - no one here is 17 anymore --and I doubt most of us would want to be again. But I love the idea of bringing that first blush into a new relationship regardless of the age of the people.
Thank you for taking the time to come in, read and leave a lovely footprint.

*grinning at kevin* to say nothing of the cresting dawn? really? nothing? well, ok, but even if we don't speak of it we can think about it right? Big fan of the dawn. Big fan.
*smooch to you my lovely friend*
terre lovely to see you in my thread.
*hands you a sweater*

Marisa please don't get me in trouble with the nuns again. I'm still reeling from the event of '02. We don't need to go there, but let's just say that I was pretty sure I was well within my rights, but the alien overlord advisory board [headed by Sister St. Cornelia interestingly enough] didn't feel the same.
thank you for taking the time to come in and read my saturday sensuality. You're a peach, the tops and the cat's pajamas all rolled into one.
*smooch*
Seems like we both had poems on our mind this weekend - but I like yours so much more than my own ;-)
you're such a sweetie estrella.
*hugs you*

*BIG Smile*

Sensual and fun.. I like it ~
Thanks for stopping in heaven. This is different than anything I've ever written. Most of my stuff is really pared down. This piece wanted to sprawwwwwwwwllll a bit.

Beautiful-- original imagery and a tender aura to this poem-- xxxj
getting steamy here....
Well as you say you definetely made the peice sprawwwwwwllll all across your wall...haha.
Wonderful piece!
Sensuous and well-painted.
Sexy write - yearning for youth and innocence, discounting the now and experience between..back to that era again. Effective write! G

OOOoooo Hot, hot, hot.... Very sensual and made me smile!

Must be nice to think that is still possible! Woo me 'til I fall asleep at 10 p.m. seems more like it now -- for some of us, anyhow. But I'll leave the moonlight on for you!
a blushing piece. "woo me in the moonlight" ... savor every moment like it's the first.
…still blushing…
Taut, sexy, extraordinary. "Til sinews hum on bones," a great phrase. First time here (there must be a cherry joke in there somewhere!); it's great to see women flexing that sensual muscle in their writing. Hot but not tawdry, a very good write. Thanks! Amy Barlow Liberatore
