                LOVE
                  is a necessary
              building block of life
I wonder why it's not on the periodic table?

A distinct failure of the scientific method, methinks.

But, perhaps the world (and the word) is best served by the mystery.

True. Love under a microscope rarely flourishes...

Good question, but I also really like your reply to Kevin. :)
And:
love you! <3

Nice! Love isn't a stable element and has only been seen for a billionth of a second at any given time. They're still gathering documentation on it. That's why it's not on the periodic table.

Oh man matt, why didn't I think of that?

Now whenever I think of love I'll remember trying to catch mercury with bare hands or a piece of paper like we did on a regular basis in grade school after yet ANOTHER thermometer busted on the tile.

Exposure to the elusiveness of both love AND mercury might explain some things about the wonky way my brain works...

*gives you a gold star*

Love you too my sweet Estrella!

You are a never waning source of the energy that keeps my heart beating.

*happy sigh*
