Zzzzzzzzzz...

green shoots
   slumbering
beneath white snow
   dreaming
a kaleidoscope
   of spring

Thank you, Karen, for the smile this brought to my lips today.

There's certainly enough white snow to go around here in Kansas City. It's good to remember the probability of new life just waiting to burst out.

Be well, friend.

As long as it's from the ground and not out of the chest like that thing in alien, kevin, I'm ALL FOR THINGS bursting out.

Reading this, I can vividly imagine all the shoots beneath white snow in our garden - when we still lived in our old house that is. I impatiently dug them out until my grandma explained they should stay under the warmth of their snowy covers until Spring arrives :)
