Seven stitches smarter……

Bouncing on my bed
I hit my head

Discovering one of two
simple truths

My ceiling is much too low
or my knees are much too strong

Hahahaha! This was a great start to my morning. At least you didn't bite your tongue.

Your ceiling is probably much too low. All the dancing you do has made your knees much too strong, too.

Put both together and you get the big OUCH.

This put a big smile on my face. Even coffee doesn't do that first thing...

Thank God you didn't have a ceiling fan on... You'd have been decapitated and I wouldn't have your postings to look forward to every day!

Have you considered bouncing on your bed from a prone position?

Take that any way you want... *laughing*

Ah Laura,
I see you've seen me do yoga.
But yoga or prone bouncing by oneself, as a substitute for other aerobic activity is a lot like brewing acorns to make coffee, it kinda looks the same, but lacks that certain something.

Ok, Kris, now I have to find my etiquette book. I KNOW a story about a guy who came to work with stitches in his forehead and all he would say about it was he stood up in bed....but it's not my story to tell...... will check with miss manners and see if I just said too much.

But I do know that there was a ceiling fan involved.

I didn't bite my tongue Laurita, AND I didn't fall off the bed.

I did however find that what they say is true about washing something right away in cold water before the blood sets in.
And I found out that it helps if you wash it twice. Well, it helped in my case anyway.

Anybody know how to repair a dent in plaster?

Happy as always to make you smile Marisa.
[grins gigantically]

I'm pretty sure that was the goal I had on my calendar for today...*checks calendar* ... Yep, "Make Marisa Smile first thing" -in big red letters on May 26th.
Check. Hey, that means my work is done, I can go to the park now and play hookey.
Yay!!!! Marisa rocks!

LOL - I thought it was only me who did such things. *happy sigh*

In our last house I put a really fancy chandelier over the bed. It was really romantic. Scar tissue, not so much.

This reminds me of something Alice in Wonderland would say. A burst of living in the moment here. Love it.

I think everybody should bounce on their bed and shout WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE every day, Jodi.

But my lawyers have advised me against saying so. They explained why, but I wasn't really listening. I know it had something to do with a lawsuit surrounding five monkeys jumping on a bed.
Damn monkeys, they take the fun out of everything.

No Cat, it's not just you. That's why we're two peas in a pod.

It's more of an indent Estrella, if you just picture half of the inside of a white basketball, you'll get the idea.

I'm more of the practical lighting in the boudoir kind of girl Cathy. But I don't use candles anymore. Who knew silk sheets soaked in baby oil could go up in flames that fast?

[grins at you all]

Thanks for stopping in to see my little silliness.

Damn those monkeys!!

Have dent in my head from springing up under a surprisingly low shelf last year - it seemed so much higher up when I was bent under it.

Thought it hurt at the time, but it was twenty minutes later and on the long walk home when I discovered the actual dent...and boy is it annoying!!

Karen from Mentor said...

Ah, so that's why you part your hair like that.
I thought it was just a style thing.

[Cat's so much fun to play with]

Ha! That is great! I think the ceiling is definitely too low, no such thing as knees too strong!

I can just feel that impact of hitting the ceiling, I can't place it, but I think it happened to me before - must have blocked it out.
