Because it’s getting spooky…..

I had to promise a friend that I would start keeping my psychic flashes to myself. And I will. A promise is a promise. Well, I will except for those flashes that warn of the complete annihilation of the universe. [again] In those instances I feel that it's my civic duty to warn the general populace.

Which is why I keep a skywriter on call 24/7…….

Mighty psychic one, please give me sufficient notice to allow me time to scarf down a couple of fatty steaks and a vanilla shake prior to the ahhihilation.

Alan? You should probably have a couple of fatty steaks and a vanilla milkshake for lunch.

[no particular reason]

Whew. I'm glad someone's keeping an eye on things. Maybe you should start making an "everything is OK" announcement in the morning.

Karen from Mentor said...

I do that now Laurita.
I also wave and smile at myself in the mirror when I first wake up.
It starts the day off right.

Don't worry Amanda, only Alan's world is ending...

He lives in the fingernail of a giant over there in Newfoundland, and I have it on good authority that the giant has a grooming appointment in the morning.

I want to be put on your "early warning" list so I can prepare for the end without global chaos.

You have been given a special gift...now can't we use it for a few horse races while we are waiting?

Karen from Mentor said...

Evil doppelganger in the 7th Anne, but you didn't hear it from me.

Poor Alan...perhaps the manicurist will call in sick today?

*wanders off to eat a large bowl of ice cream, just in case*

It's because Alan roasted Anton Gully that the world's ending, isn't it.

The Lord giveth with one hand and smacks you upside the head with the other...

Not that I'm saying Anton is you-know-who or anything.

Please give me enough notice so that I don't bother doing the laundry or clean the house.

Not that I need an apocalyptic excuse for that.

Karen from Mentor said...

hmmmmm...will have to get back to you on the housecleaning...

Alan's roast of Anton is wicked funny, but if pressed, I'd say Anton was more likely to be the Dark Lord than the lord.

But I'll leave any and all theological discussions to you.

Because like discussions of time travel, things like that tend to make my eyes bleed.

Karen from Mentor said...

What kind of ice cream Laura? And are you sharing?

Laura Eno said...

Well, if the world's gonna end I don't have to be nice and share it, do I? No repercussions of selfishness tomorrow and all...

*eating the whole carton by myself so there*

Karen from Mentor said...

Ah, but your world isn't scheduled to end for...

*counts on fingers*

... a while yet....

ok, nevermind. enjoy the ice cream.

John Wiswell said...

I'd rather not be warned of cosmic annihilation. Don't spoil the ending for me!

Karen from Mentor said...

You got it John.

*removes John's neighborhood from skywriter's fly over field*

Cat Connor said...

Note to self... stop feeding future flashes to Karen.
:-)

Karen from Mentor said...

Oh so you're the conduit Cat. That explains why I can only see sixteen hours into the future.

Karen from Mentor said...

And yes, if you think about that...that if Cat is experiencing cataclysmic events sixteen hours ahead of me, then how would I be here to experience them sixteen hours later....it just makes your head spin.

So don't do it.

[just sayin]

Q #1: So like, are you able to transport to various dimensions to flash warnings of global doom? (Like that alien guy in Buckaroo Bonzai).

Q #2: Will you transport me with you?

Skywriters in the sky... (sang to Ghost Ryders In The Sky)

You're so adorable. ;-D

Karen from Mentor said...

Oh my gosh Jodi!!
How did I miss Buckaroo Bonzai and its all star cast?

I just watched the "trailer" - it was more like the entire movie at imdb and laughed and laughed and laughed...

http://www.imdb.com/video/screenplay/vi3869508889/

The description all by itself is priceless.
Adventurer/surgeon/rock musician Buckaroo Banzai and his band of men, the Hong Kong Cavaliers, take on evil alien invaders from the 8th dimension.

PS: Adorable X 100 right back at you!!

Karen from Mentor said...

And yes you can come with me. But pack a lunch. They only have gummy bears in the 8th dimension.

Gummy bears? Where can I sign up? ;)

I'm so sorry that I totally missed this yesterday, but still hope you'll forgive me and I'll end up on that list of people who find out beforehand...
*big sad bunny eyes* :P

Karen from Mentor said...

Checking.Yep. Estrella and her big sad bunny eyes are on the list of those with a seat on the escape rocket.... you know, the one in my back yard that I keep just in case.
[grins at you]
