Love has always come and made its own place in my experience, blithely kicking things out of the way and crushing others that were quite valuable. Love can be kind of a jerk. You'd think I'd be sadder to see her leave, but that's always the worst part.

*moves over to make a space for John on my tree*

One day my friend, one day. One day love will come along that's surprising and soft and like sinking into a hot bath that takes your breath away. [but in a good way]

That's my hope for myself, but I'll gladly share....

*hugs you*

I need this printed and put on my wall.

I'm thinking about writing it directly on my wall with a big black magic marker. But then hmmmmm... how likely would I be to get my deposit back? Maybe paper is a better way to go....

*smooches Laurita*

...the one about the Greek philosopher who stayed up all night wondering where the sun went - and then it dawned on him...

I just noticed the title of this post. One blinding flash of the obvious later...

Perfect title (but you knew that, already) to a wonderful micro poem.

Just gorgeous.
