Blurred…..

Blurred

Hiding in plain sight
blended beauty

one rooted
one winged

Moth and bark
textural art

Simply beautiful poem. Definitely the best textural art, in my opinion. I am in awe when I encounter sites like this on my nature walks.

Awesome - both poem and photo. When do you find the time to be so multi-talented while avoiding alien abductions?

Great picture! Textbook example of how critters use camoflauge!

Kind of like when I stick my youngest in his tie-dye shirt before letting him eat an ice cream cone...

LOL Kris, especially if it's blueberry ice cream.

[I only ever allow myself to envision tie-dye in purples and blues. I know that's a tad unusual, but don't worry.... I'm seeking qualified help...they think it may stem from that incident in 7th grade camp...oh the horror...the horror....]

Thank you Anne. [feels all warm and fuzzy]

I was doing yoga in the woods and just happened to see this little guy hanging around. I feel so lucky when I can see something like this and even more so when I can capture it with my camera.

Thanks Judy!

So happy you guys stopped in and took the time to comment.

A picture paints a thousand words - or fifteen words a world.

Beautiful.

So beautifully expressed in such few words and that amazing photo! :)

PS: I'm certain you already know it, but I had to say something :P

Yay, Kevin, glad you liked my 15 word world.
I love your poetry.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

[especially since presumably you're at work...so I feel extra special that you snuck out just for me]

I don't normally like rhyming poems for arrogance's sake, but the flow and musicality of this piece really worked. Wonderful writing.

Karen from Mentor said...

It rhymes? ...I'm not even kidding...call me and read it to me and make it rhyme.

oh wait... the last two lines...ok...they kinda rhyme. [nevermind]

Karen from Mentor said...

oh... and I forgot to say thank you Jared.

[was just so gobsmacked...giggling]

Ahh, Mother Nature is an amazing artist, which we can see when someone with a good eye for art captures it! Love the poem too.
